Thornton Friends School is an intentionally small, progressive, college preparatory Friends (Quaker) school serving students in grades 6 through 12 who seek a smaller, more nurturing educational environment in which to thrive.
Thornton Friends at the Washington DC Green Festival this past weekend. Parent volunteers such as Patience, above, staffed the table along with some school staff, answering many questions about the school and handing out information to attendees. Many expressed how glad they were to see a Quaker school represented!
